Here are some of the highlights:

October 6-7:  Hermann Homecoming/Jaycee Bier Garten 
Head just 3 blocks over from the Guest Haus to the Jaycee Bier Garten at Sesquicentennial Park, Third and Gutenberg, kicks off this weekend and is open every weekend in October.  Enjoy beer, wine, food, and live music.  Participate in stein hoisting competitions at 2:00, 5:00, and 8:00 p.m.  No cover charge.

October 13-14:  66th Annual Arts and Crafts Festival
Takes place at Hermann Middle School, Highway 100 West, 10:00 to 5:00.  Let your eye wander through craft booths, exhibitions, and antiques.  Rest your feet and drop your bags at the Guest Haus afterwards.

October 19:  Witches & Wine
Ladies, this evening is for you!  Grab your ghoul friends and fly just one block over from the Guest Haus to Fourth & Schiller in Historic downtown Hermann for an evening of music, dancing, food, and shopping. There’s even a costume contest.  5:30-9 p.m. RSVP by October 13 to guarantee yourself a goodie bag.  Get more details here >>>

October 20:  Haunting of Hermann Farm
Join in a spirited Halloween celebration, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. then rest your weary self in front of the gas firepit at the Guest Haus before turning in.

October 22:  Cemetery Walk
Before you snuggle in for the evening at the Guest Haus, take a stroll through Hermann City Cemetery, starting at 3:00 p.m., featuring costumed impersonators of persons buried in the oldest portions of the cemetery.

Katy Trail
Grape Expectations Guest Haus is located just off The Katy Trail in historic downtown Hermann.  Spend a relaxing evening in a comfortable bed and wake up refreshed and ready to explore more along the trail.
